politicophobia
could libertarians be victims of the condition politicophobia? it's defined as an abnormal, persistent, fear or dislike of politicians... hm, yea, seems to fit. of course, to be diagnosed with any psychological disorder it must be maladaptive, and libertarians seem to have instead made a kind of art of it. but beware if you begin to develop these symptoms:

Symptoms typically include shortness of breath, rapid breathing, irregular heartbeat, sweating, nausea, and overall feelings of dreadalthough amusing, it's also a great example of psychology's current proclivity for trying to gain credibility by creating labels for minutia.

words of the day
okay, i've foundered in the abyss of geometry and reading comprehension. regular readings may be surprised (or not) that my quantitative & vocab skills are not quite up to GRE-par. i've missed being an oblocutor. however, this is my last week of nugatory studying, which means i'll be procrastinating (read: blogging some).
in my quest for a more magniloquent vocabulary, i came across the new american sub-standard politically incorrect dictionary. check it out, although it doesn't really live up to the high expectations its name creates.
